VAT Finance Officer

You will be joining a professional and stable organisation with a modern office in Weesp. The working environment is international, with colleagues from a wide range of nationalities and English commonly used as the working language. In a full-time position, you will work from home an average of two days per week, with a strong focus on creating a pleasant and sustainable working environment. The first contract will be trough Antenna. The position is open for 24 hours per week.

In addition, you can expect:

• A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €4,400
• A 13th-month salary and holiday allowance
• A bonus scheme of up to 10% of your annual salary based on good performance
• 25 days of annual leave and 13 additional ATV days
• A pension scheme with a 4.4% employee contribution and a 12% employer contribution

As a VAT Finance Officer, you will be part of the Finance & Accounting department in Weesp, which supports the entire European organisation. Together with a direct colleague, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of VAT and contribute to reliable financial processes.

• You will prepare monthly VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat returns for various European VAT registrations.
• You will identify discrepancies in a timely manner and work with international colleagues to find appropriate solutions.
• Your responsibilities will include validating VAT numbers, preparing VAT specifications, completing SII reporting for the Spanish entities and checking monthly exchange rates.
• You will also provide support on various VAT-related projects across the European organisation.
• Together with your direct colleague, you will monitor the quality and timely completion of VAT processes.

You work accurately, have an analytical mindset and feel comfortable within a structured, international organisation. You communicate easily with colleagues from different countries and are able to maintain an overview when dealing with complex administrative processes. Preferably, you also have a good command of Dutch.

In addition, you have:

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
• Relevant work experience within finance
• Excellent command of the English language and demonstrable experience with Excel. It is preferable.
